Our Mission
Children of Peace Catholic School is a caring community of children, parents, and professional staff brought together by our faith in God and our calling to bring peace to the world. Our educational program meets the academic and social needs of a diverse student population which includes educating the deaf and hard-of-hearing in a nurturing and safe environment.
About Children of Peace
Children of Peace Catholic School is a premier private school in Chicagoland, offering a progressive and holistic education that prepares students for success in high school, college and future endeavors.
Multicultural
We believe that diversity of thought and experience is essential for a well-rounded education, and we are committed to providing our students with opportunities to learn from each other and grow as individuals.
Diverse
Our student body incudes students from a wide range of backgrounds, races, ethnicities, religions, and socioeconomic statuses. We celebrate our diversity and believe that it makes our school a more vibrant and welcoming place to learn.
Faith-Based
We believe that a faith-based education can help students develop their moral compass and live a meaningful life, and we are committed to providing our students with the tools they need to grow in their faith.
Our History
Where Faith, Community & Education Unite
Our present location in the heart of the Illinois Medical District is the result of a consolidation of three Catholic schools — Holy Trinity, St. Callistus, and Holy Family — in 1994. The children named the newly formed school Children of Peace because they wanted to bring a feeling of strong and loving peace to their community.
